Bible Reading Plan
Research shows that most people professing faith in Jesus have never completely read the Bible. Many people start reading the Bible but then become overwhelmed by the number of chapters (1,189) and verses (31,102). We’re always looking for meaningful ways to help you spend time with God daily. We hope our Bible reading plan will make it easy and fun for you to read through the entire Bible this year. Here are a few things to keep in mind:
Although the plan begins with January, you can begin at any time during the year.
Each day’s readings will include a selection from the Old or New Testament, along with the corresponding chapter in the Conflict of the Age series, reinforcing the incredible unity of the Scriptures and the spirt of prophecy.
May God bless you as you open His precious Word each day, and remember to pray for His guidance in your study. It is our desire that you will become increasingly changed into His likeness by beholding the Lord through His Word.
Tips on Reading the Bible
- Start reading the Bible today – there is no better time, and there’s no reason to wait.
- Set aside a specific time each day. Mornings are great, but feel free to use any time that works consistently for you.
- Read the Bible for the sake of learning, not simply to accomplish your next reading. Say a short prayer to God before you begin, asking the Holy Spirit to give you wisdom and understanding, then be refreshed by the words you read!
